Winter is Almost Over

Well we have yet another addition to our family. Shortly after we got Sunshine, we went back and picked out "Daisy." Although she is a daschund too, she is a Gold instead of English Cream. We call her tank or bulldog because she is bow-legged, stocky and very muscular in her front paws. The two girls get along great and I don't feel so bad leaving them when I have to go out during the day or in the evening. They both sleep well at night, no more of the incessant whining that Sunshine used to do. Although my house is filthy (we have no grass but plenty of mud in the backyard) it was generally an OK double purchase.

Kurt is currently in Arkansas for the next two months. He is doing an instructor upgrade for the C-130 so he will be able to teach people how to fly it (like he did in Del Rio for the T-1 airplane). We are looking to the future and trying to decide if we stay in the Air Force or get out. We are also unsure of where to go, or what job to take next. I am sure God will provide the way for us, whatever the next step may be.

I am just about to give up the Mrs. Yokota crown...the next pageant is on May 1st, so we are all busy planning that. Sarah and Hannah are in their first musical production put on by "Vivace" children's theater. They have a great director and I am living vicariously through them while supervising rehearsals.

We have done quite a few modeling jobs recently and will be putting that on hold for a while, partly because of Vivace and partly because of school. We had two jobs this week, today's required us to be on the train at 6:23 to Tokyo and we didn't get back till 5:30. Although it is gruelling, Hannah loves it and continues to enamour all of the Japanese directors/photographers.

Hopefully I can get some pictures up really soon. Thanks for keeping up with us.

So happy to see a new post! Been wondering what y'all have been up to. :) I'm so happy that Japan has been exciting and offering so many great things for you and your family Heather. You seemed anxious to be doing such things before you left AR, so I am so happy that many opportunities have come. :) Hope you have a fun spring!
